First Ladies Against Cancer (FLAC) is a coalition of the spouses of current and former state governors in Nigeria.

We leverage our collective political, institutional, and social networks to increase awareness and improve access to cancer services in Nigeria.

We work to address gaps in the cancer continuum of care by increasing awareness, facilitating access to screening and treatment, and advocating for policies that provide equitable access to quality cancer care services across Nigeria.

We are committed to serving as a dedicated advocacy and resource mobilization platform for cancer care.

Through our platform, we continue to champion initiatives that prevent needless deaths from preventable cancers such as cervical and breast cancer. By uniting the influence and networks of First Ladies across Nigeria, FLAC is creating a powerful movement that drives awareness, strengthens health systems, and brings hope to families and communities impacted by cancer.

WHO WE ARE

First Ladies Against Cancer (FLAC) is a coalition of the spouses of current and former state governors in Nigeria.

Founded in 2015, we are committed to addressing the gaps in Nigeria’s cancer care continuum by raising awareness, increasing access to screening and treatment, and advocating for policies that prioritize cancer care services.

Through our efforts, we aim to create a sustainable and equitable healthcare environment where every Nigerian has access to life-saving cancer services.
